Apolitical

Gavel

I have been determined to remain apolitical over the past 4 years, and I will continue to do so. Besides, I know full well no one really gives a crap about what I would say unless I happen to be agreeing with them. In the past I have told people I’m too conservative to be a Democrat and too liberal to be a Republican, and not whack-a-doo enough to be an Independent (or maybe I am, but I just don’t want to admit it to myself).

I do try very hard to listen to both sides of an argument.

But this is where I stand: I did not vote for Donald Trump, and I have only occasionally agreed with him on a very few things.

I do feel he has committed very serious crimes against the United States of America, and he should be held accountable for them — especially for the insanity that went on at the nation’s capital in the first week of 2021.

And NO, I do not believe the 2020 election was rigged. I feel anyone who does has fallen under the poisonous hypnotic spell of Donald J. Trump.

That’s all I have to say about that. Agree or not, I don’t really care. This country allows you to have different opinions, and let’s keep it that way even if we disagree.

And: Argue by voting, not by violence.
